These three pups have recently come into our care. They are in a shocking state and are skin and bones. PDCT will do everything we can to get them back on their feet. It will be a long, slow road, but these little guys deserve a chance.
Based on their body condition score of 1 (out of 9), they went for a long period of time without proper nutrition. They now have refeeding syndrome, where we have to feed them small amounts of food multiple times a day. They will need weekly vet visits until they are well enough to eat like normal puppies.
They will need foster homes dedicated to following a strict feeding schedule and have time to take them to their weekly vet appointments. Someone who can be patient and teach them it’s okay to trust and show them what love is.
